I've been here years ago and loved it. Guess what? I still do! This time, I got a house salad with fried oysters. The oysters were perfect! My greens were a little bitter, though. My wife ordered, you guessed it, the Hamburger Steak with fries. I tasted it, and it was very good. Our friends got the Crab Cakes and the Crawfish Egg Rolls. They said they were so delicious. I have to take their word for it since they never offered me a taste! I'm talking to you, buddy!! Lol
Food and service were excellent. We enjoyed our brunch on Sunday very much! . We ordered the Berry French toast and crab cake Benedict . It was was very good. Definitely a Nice family run restaurant. Keep up the good work!!
We enjoyed our dinner at Bienvenue on Hickory. We had the boudin balls and onion rings for appetizers. We had the Remy Stack, my wife loved it, just a tad more dressing would have made it perfect even on the side. I had the Swiss Shroom burger, very juicy, i would get again. My son had the Bienvenue Burger, same with him, he enjoyed the burger and said it was cooked well. We definitely want to try the seafood platter next time. Thanks for a great experience.
Always our office lunch time go to place for the great service and fresh food served. Have never had a bad experience at Bienvenue. Enjoyed the patty melt and it was unbelievable. Couldn't eat all the food that was served. And as needed for lunch, the food was out in lightning speed and was hot. As Arnold says..."I'll be back"
Great food! We got the cheeses bread and the sauce that came with it was unreal. The marrone sandwich and so juicy and flavorful. Will definitely be back!
Top notch place. Get the drum stack. Ate half, took the rest home, then finished it an hour later because I couldn't wait to get hungry again! Delicious! Skip the gravy and cheese fries. It's like Canadian poutin. We only got them because they no longer serve debris fries and we wanted something close to that. It wasn't. Did I mention how good the drum stack was?
Update 1/14/24: Service was amazing. The fountain drinks were delicious and on points. The food lacked flavor to the point we had to add salt on everything. Brunch was disappointing. Came in for lunch. Drinks were served fast and came with a good pour. Crawfish egg rolls very good as were the side salad and the crawfish and corn soup. Everything came out so quickly. We got the regular burger as the main course, a very good basic burger that was cooked perfectly and very moist. Minus points for serving single serving packets of mayo. Very disappointing it wasn't Blue Plate.
Bienvenue was excellent with service and the staff and the food was great as they helped serve us on a last-minute reservation with over 20 people. I will definitely go back often.
